Hello, I'm Athena! I've had quite a trip to get here. I am originally from NM, my mom was a nurse and had to work long hours because of covid. Now I'm here in AZ, it took me a minute to warm up to my foster family, but once I came out of my shell I grew to love my foster mom, sister and brother.. and my great dane foster sister.  I love pets and food and cheese.  I absolutely love my foster mom, I stick to her like glue, and love to stand watch where ever she goes. She says I'm a good girl, I don't bark at door bells or door knocks, and I love to go on walks, and I do pretty good on a leash if I do say so myself. Did I mention I know how to use a doggy door, and I am crate trained, but prefer to lay at your feet while you work. I do get really excited when you get home.. sometimes I forget my own strength and will accidentally scratch you, but I make up for it with lots of kisses. I will say I am not so sure about men, I'm not aggressive, just don't really like to hang out with them. I've been working with my foster Dad, I will take treats and hang around if mom is around, but if she's not ill just hide in the laundry room. And that's about it.. i hope to find my forever home, I've got lots of love to give and I am such a good girl.
