Dane Haven, Inc. began in April 2013, when a group of volunteers set out to make a difference in the lives of Great Danes and the rescue community. Since then we have rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed many Danes that otherwise would not have had a chance.

Many people have the misconception that all rescues are kennels where dogs are caged and not allowed to interact with people or other animals. We are not a kennel, all the Danes that come into our rescue go into loving foster homes where they are cared for and loved until their forever families come along. 

Dane Haven, Inc. adopts within the state of Arizona. We do however work with shelters in California and Nevada when a Dane is in need. 

We are involved in the community, participating in adoption events, dog washes, expos and meet and greets at local pet supply stores. We help educate people on the breed and on how to properly care for their Danes.

We encourage people to get involved whether it's volunteering to foster a dog, or volunteering to help in other ways. If we all work together we can make a difference.
