Howdy there folks, my name is Onni. I am a young pup that is looking for a special family, one that understands that I am young and full of energy. You see my previous owners didn’t provide me with any training on how to behave, so I was a bit of a wild child. Since coming to Dane Haven I have learned many things, how to walk on a leash, how to go potty outside, how to sit, shake and how to share with the two Danes I hang out with. My foster mom says I am a work in progress, she says I have a few other things that I need to learn. I really like getting treats so that helps when she is trying to teach me. I love to go for car rides, have my person toss my toy so I can jump up and catch it, I love getting pets and did I mention treats are good too? My foster mom says that I definitely need a family that has Dane experience and is willing to continue training me. She says I would benefit from working with an actual trainer. I often get very excited and jump on people, and sometimes I will “mouth” them (if I get too excited I mouth a little too hard). I also have a difficult time when I meet other dogs; I jump at them and bark, they don’t seem to like that too much. Mom says I need slow introductions and work on socialization. Over all I am a good boy, I am sweet and loving and egger to learn. I am very smart and very handsome. As I said I am looking for that special family that is willing to help me become better. A family that will love me and understand that within this energetic, outgoing , rambunctious  fellow is a gentle faithful lovable guy who just wants to be your best friend.
