Diesel is a brilliant 18 month old puppy who loves to play. He is good with other dogs and enjoys playing. Because he is a puppy still he doesn't understand that sometimes he plays too rough so small dogs would not be a good idea. Large and Giant Breed dogs would be best. In his previous home he was teased so he struggles with trusting people. Once he warms up he can be quite the companion. Although he does ok with children he can be protective of his humans. This behavior will require additional training. Also because of his puppy-ness he can be mouthy as a lot of young Danes are, and at times he gets excited and can be a little to rough. Therefore a home with children would not be ideal. Training will be required so keep that in mind if considering adopting Diesel.
